FormAT produces metal and wooden frames for climbing walls.

During designing it’s very important to consider all details, including doors, special holes for utility networks, free space between metal pipes for walkways, storage, inspection of construction etc.

FormAT produces frames from metal and wood in own plants. We purchase most of the connecting elements and fasteners from trusted suppliers.

But some are produced in our own production. Such as telescopic tractions, which are used in bouldering and lead climbing walls with complex multifaceted geometry. Also, the traction makes it easy to fit together the walls of the climbing wall during installation.

Panels are supported with cross balks to make no shakes as for safety of joints both for comfort climbing.

Engineers of FormAT calculate optimal materials for the Statics of frame, but sometimes we increase tensile strength for sure of Inspection control.

Safety first. But safety is not only the reliability of construction, but also reliability that climbing wall will withstand inspections of regulatory authorities and will be open in time.

FormAT uses special forced and galvanised t-nuts with 3 screws. We made tests to to reproduce the maximum load that can be applied to a panel insertion a wall due to the force of a fixed climbing hold and the maximum permissible force exerted by a climber during use.

Our t-nuts passed test of 12 kN (1 200 kg) according to EN 12572 successfully.
